Wis. Athletic Director, Football Coach: Keep It Clean

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez and football coach Bret Bielema are urging fans to keep it clean.

An email sent to all student season ticket holders asks fans to end the tradition of yelling obscenity-laced cheers back and forth at Camp Randall Stadium. The email tells students to have a good time at the game, but without chanting four-letter words.

Alvarez and Bielema say they’ve gotten complaints from visitors and Badger fans about the profane chants. The State Journal says the athletic department has also put together a video this year that plays on the jumbo screen at the stadium asking students to be on their best behavior.

  • Um the Pic is Lambeau Feild

Ok I am from WI and just curious as to why CCO is showing a picture of Lambeau Field when talking about the Badgers.

    • Changed the pic now

Oh I see they changed the picture now.

“Cuz all you cheeseheads look alike and drink paint thinner before the game.

    • Proud of my Cheesehead heritage

Yep you know us cheeseheads, we drink paint thinner and are all realated to one another. Yet when it comes to sports let’s see, Greenbay 5-0, Badgers 6-0, and Brewers in the NLCS. But you do all have 1 up on us, you have a WNBA championship.

      • You forgot

You forgot to add: #1 chewers of straw and #1 in knuckle injuries due to all of the dragging when you walk.

  • Big Dummy

    Keep it clean? STFU!

    • What Next?

STFU???? That’s what they are talking about.
