Body Found In Wooded Area Of Brooklyn Center

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a body was pulled out of a wooded area of Brooklyn Center Saturday afternoon.

Authorities are in the area of Shingle Creek Parkway and John Martin Road. The Hennepin County Crime Lab is on the scene investigating.

Police said they got a call Saturday afternoon from a resident who was walking on Shingle Creek Parkway near John Martin Road and came across the body. Authorities said it appears to be a white man in his 40s who was dead in a field. Brooklyn Park Police Sgt. Patrick Toohey said based on the man’s clothing and a backpack he was carrying, the man appeared to be homeless. Authorities say at this time the man’s death does not appear to be suspicious.

homelessness should be a thing o’ the past,eh?…i believe the lyrics to an old metal song from the 70’s that goes,”who’s the savage?…modern man”…our modern societies outta be beyond this non-sense

  • Get it right!

Is it Brooklyn PARK or Brooklyn CENTER? Get it right – one part of the story states it’s in BC, but then you attribute the quote from the police sgt as a sgt from BP. Doubt that the BC cops needed the assistance from a neighboring city on this case. Your credibility goes down the pipes when you don’t get simple facts straight.

Fact is,he’s probably just another victim of the Party of NO! With many more to come, no doubt as well.
