Kevin Sorbo To Sign New Book In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Actor Kevin Sorbo of TV's "Hercules" fame will be in Minneapolis Saturday to sign copies of his new memoir at the Twin Cities Book Festival.

Sorbo's book is titled "True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal -- and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life." It details the muscular actor's recovery from an aneurysm and three strokes he suffered in September 1997 while starring as Hercules.

Sorbo is a native of Mound and a graduate of Moorhead State University. He starred in "Hercules, the Legendary Journeys" for seven seasons from 1993 to 1999 and then had the lead role as Capt. Dylan Hunt in Gene Roddenberry's "Andromeda."

The Twin Cities Book Festival is being held at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College in downtown Minneapolis.
