MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — It’s homecoming week at the University of Minnesota and a series of community events are schedule ahead of the big parade and football game next weekend.

On Monday, the university is teaming up with the American Red Cross for the first of two blood drives. The first is at Coffman Union on the Minneapolis campus and the second is Wednesday on the St. Paul campus.

There’s also a push to collect canned food for an emergency food shelf and an effort to do service projects in the neighborhoods surrounding the Twin Cities campus.

On Friday night the homecoming parade will move through the Twin Cities campus before a pep fest headlined by local rapper group Atmosphere.

Then on Saturday afternoon, the Gopher football team hosts Nebraska in TCF Bank Stadium.

I hope people attend and maybe rejuvenate the whole U scene in years ahead. Maybe I’m to old but I recall well the 60’s on campus and damn it was fun. Maybe we enjoyed things to much but I do recall most. lol
Head there and give it a whirl

How many people will be drunk? how many will get sexually assaulted and how many girls will get pregnant?
