New MnSCU Chancellor To Be Formally Installed

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The new chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system will be formally installed this week in a ceremony at the state Capitol.

Chancellor Steven Rosenstone is scheduled to accept the ceremonial medallion during an event Wednesday morning in the capitol Rotunda.

Gov. Mark Dayton is scheduled to attend, as are members of the MnSCU board of trustees and students representing the 31 state colleges and universities in the MnSCU system.

The system intends to broadcast the installation live on its website at www.mnscu.edu.
