HASTINGS, Minn. (WCCO) — A man who contacted police to complain that he was being harassed by rumors claiming he raped a young girl has been charged with criminal sexual conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, 21-year-old Robert Classen, of Hastings, Minn., contacted police last month. He said he was being accused of raping a girl. He told police he wanted the rumors to stop.

Police responded by contacting the mother of the girl in question. She said her 14-year-old daughter had reported being inappropriately touched by Classen.

Police interviewed the victim, who reported that on several occasions, Classen touched her inappropriately.

Classen now faces a felony charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Yea, and I have a c-note that says you’re a pervert also and are still upset that someone reported you for trying/doing something you knew was wrong.

I kind of agree with you on this one. Hopefully he isn’t being charged for something that never happened. He will now have to register as a sex offender.

As a past victim, I get sick when people scream wolf, so I hope she is not.

BUT, where is the proof, this canot be based just on hear say…can it?? That is wrong, and she should have come forward right away and not let it happen on ‘several’ occasions. Makes you wonder what is really going on. Why is her mother letting her hang around 21 year old’s??

I agree with you but at the same time….who knows if she just let it happen, if you are really a past victim you would understand that maybe he forced it, maybe he threatened her….nobody knows besides those two what is really going on and I think it’s ignorant for you to speculate. I doubt her mother knew she was hanging out with 21 year olds….I hung out with older people when I was that age and my parents didn’t always know who I was around.

Jackaction is the new comment degenerate, the architect im guessing.

They don’t even have any physical evidence of a crime being comitted.

We’re suppose to lay-off public school teachers, firefighters and cut bridge repair money. So Mental Health Union thugs can get job security treating everyone for being creepy sex offenders.

The constitution says criminal laws are not suppose to be this vague.
