Man Arrested For Northeast Burglary

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis Police arrested a man they believe broke into a home in the Northeast part of the city.

Around noon Tuesday, officers were called to a burglary in progress at the 600 block of 22nd Ave. Northeast.

They arrived and found a man, Cortez Ladon Wright Jr., on the property. He matched the description provided by the 911 dispatcher.

Police stopped Wright, 19, while they investigated the home. Officers were able to gather enough evidence and witness information to arrest Wright for burglary.

It is not known yet if Wright is connected to other burglaries in the area.
