ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police have located a man sought in the apparent homicide of a 27-year-old woman found dead in her home.

Authorities arrested the 31-year-old man on Wednesday. He is identified as Corey Dean Thomas and is being held in Miami on a Minnesota Department of Corrections arrest warrant.

Thomas was sought as a person of interest in the death of Megan Neely of St. Paul. A friend says she was the mother of two daughters, ages 1 and 10.

Neely was reported missing Saturday, but a search of her home found no sign of her. Investigators returned to her home Monday and found her body.

St. Paul police will travel to Miami in the next few days to talk to the man as their investigation continues.

The cause of Neely’s death has not been released.

  • Saint Paul Police is incompetent

This article is misleading. Mr. Thomas was picked up on an unrelated Second Degree Assault Charge (Family Related) and held on this warrant. No one is mentioning how the Saint Paul Police goofed up on this. They went to the house on Saturday and somehow forgot to check a small crawl space even though they were with the family. This is where the body was. When they came back they did a better job and did a thorougher job and found the dead body. Shoddy Police work. I have inside sources that tell me a lot of things don’t add up in within the Saint Paul Police Department. Scary who is protecting us.

The guy was convicted of attempted murder of a previous girlfriend.

Also, “thorougher” is not a word in the English language.

Your inside sources mean jack sh.1.t, buddy.

Corey Thomas is going to PRISON for the rest of his life.

      Seeeeeeeeeeeeeya! Wouldn’t wanna beeeeeeeeeeeeeya!
