Harvin Leaves Game With Rib Injury; Herrera Hurt
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin left the game against Green Bay on Sunday with a rib injury that has bothered him for the past few weeks.
Harvin watched the second half from the sideline without his helmet.
The Vikings have had to limit Harvin's plays over the past two weeks while he has been dealing with the injury, which first occurred in training camp and resurfaced during the season.
Harvin had two catches for 15 yards, two rushes for 8 yards and two kickoff returns for 55 yards in the first half. Coach Leslie Frazier said it was too soon to tell whether Harvin would be available for the game at Carolina next Sunday.
The Vikings have their bye the following week.
Right guard Anthony Herrera also hurt his left knee, the same one he had reconstructive surgery on last year to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Frazier said he'd be evaluated again on Monday. Herrera came back once, but aggravated the injury and limped off again later. He was replaced by rookie Brandon Fusco.
