Maplewood School Locked Down

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (WCCO) — An elementary school in Maplewood, Minn. was locked down Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the lockdown at Carver Elementary School began after a relative of one of the students began acting erratically and attempting to remove the student from school.

Police received indication that the relative may have access to a firearm.

Though no issues were reported, the school was placed on lockdown mode, and police officers are on hand as a precautionary measure.

Classes were being held at the school as scheduled.

I guess you aren’t able to read. It wasn’t about the child…

I am just wondering “a relative of one of the students began acting erratically” what did the relative do?. And who determines what erratic acting” is?

  • Loving Fall

In another article, it says she is under psychiatric evaluation so she’s obviously not playing with a full deck. She also had access to a gun and made threats to the student and other family members.
