Maplewood School Locked Down

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (WCCO) — An elementary school in Maplewood, Minn. was locked down Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, the lockdown at Carver Elementary School began after a relative of one of the students began acting erratically and attempting to remove the student from school.

Police received indication that the relative may have access to a firearm.

Though no issues were reported, the school was placed on lockdown mode, and police officers are on hand as a precautionary measure.

Classes were being held at the school as scheduled.

    I am just wondering “a relative of one of the students began acting erratically” what did the relative do?. And who determines what erratic acting” is?

    In another article, it says she is under psychiatric evaluation so she’s obviously not playing with a full deck. She also had access to a gun and made threats to the student and other family members.
