Stolen Harley-Davidson Parts Found In Hudson

HUDSON, Wis. (AP) -- Police are tracking down the owners of stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts found in a storage unit in Hudson earlier this month.

Detective Shawn Pettee tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press the parts came from an estimated 14 motorcycles stolen from the Twin Cities.

The parts are worth about $200,000.

Hudson police found the parts Oct. 8. Pettee says police learned of their existence from St. Paul police, who received a tip from an informant.

No arrests have been made. Police know who was renting the storage unit and plan to interview him this week.

Of the estimated 14 bikes found, 11 have been identified by their owners.
