Cossetta's Breaks Ground On Expansion Today

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- A well-known Italian restaurant in St. Paul is ready to grow.

On Wednesday morning at about 11 a.m., city officials and employees of Cossetta's Italian Market and Pizzeria will break ground on a $12.5 million expansion.

Cossetta has been on West Seventh Street in St. Paul for nearly 25 years.

The new two-story restaurant and food emporium will connect to the existing Cossetta's location.

The expansion should be complete by next summer, which will be just in time for Cossetta's 25th anniversary.
