ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – Two Minnesota legislative leaders are publicly backing Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann in her bid for president.

Bachmann’s campaign announced Friday that she had secured endorsements from House Majority Leader Matt Dean and Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch. Both Republicans live in Bachmann’s congressional district.

Bachmann hasn’t ruled out another House campaign if her presidential bid ends early, but there are increasing doubts by her allies that she will run again.

Dean and Koch have been mentioned as possible candidates to replace Bachmann.
