Police: Owatonna Driver Hits, Kills Pedestrian
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a driver struck and killed a pedestrian near an Owatonna intersection Friday morning.
Gregory Anderson, 35, of Owatonna, struck 63-year-old Craig Hemmingsen just before 6:48 a.m. near the intersection of 26th Street Northeast and 3rd Avenue Northeast, police said.
An ambulance drove Hemmingsen to Owatonna Hospital, where he was pronounced dead as a result of injuries relating to the crash, police said.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
