Authorities ID Victim In Anoka County Fatal Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 26-year-old woman from Dayton was killed and two others were injured after a car crash in Anoka County Friday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident happened at about 4:04 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 10 and Alpine Drive in Anoka County. Authorities said a 1997 Buick LaSabre was traveling west on Highway 10 when a 1998 Dodge Stratus heading east turned to go northbound in front of the LaSabre.

The driver of the Dodge Stratus, identified as Amber Boettcher of Dayton, was killed in the accident. Brian Woodfill, 37, of Ramsey, who was a passenger in the Stratus, was also critically injured. The driver of the LaSabre, 46-year-old Stacy Miller, of Princeton , suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
