Why are you blaming the parents? He killed the dog – the parents didn’t I fully agree that he’s heading for bigger and worse crimes – next time it could well be a human. Yes he needs counseling, but in a very secure setting, and for a very long time.

This stuff makes me sick! What do you think that little chihuahua was thinking when she probably felt like she was living in a loving home only to have a “family” member inflict pain which killed her. RIP little girl!!! The 17 year old needs to be locked up!!!

Why is everybody saying that this child needs to be put in jail? I am not excusing his behavior,and I definitely think that he should be given community service and perhaps some time spent in a juvenile detention center- but he NEEDS therapy. Obviously he is deeply disturbed, and therefore is incapable of rational thought.

it sounds like he needs mental help not prolonged incarceration. send him to prison and he’ll just end up seething and worse when he comes out

Surely a serial killer in the making. Get this kid therapy and keep a very close eye on him, though not sure psychopaths can realy be helped at all to feel empathy for living things besides themselves. That poor little Chi dog….I hope she didn’t suffer long. Breaks my heart into a million pieces.

Why can’t people figure out that when kids are tought that they do not have to respect anything they will not respect anything.

“My parents told me I don’t have to do what you tell me to”. Quote from a little leuge player I was trying to help. I asked him what that meant, he told me “my parents told me I don’t have to listen to anyone”.

Teachers have no authrity to disciplin students, bus drivers can’t even tell a kid to sit down without their “parents” filing a complaint.

We have no respect for basic human life any more. Abortion is OK.

And I am glad all of you people are experts and know exactly what happened and know exatly what this kid needs.

Lock up the parents. Its obvious they did not raise the cowardly POS right. Therefore they are just as responsible.What did you do Ma and Pa Idiot? The old X-Box babysitter? People should either raise em right,not have any , or go to jail for a long time. We’d see some parents doing their job maybe then.
