MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team improved to 6-1 on the season after a 5-0 win at Alaska-Anchorage Friday night in WCHA action in Alaska.
Five players recorded multiple points for the Gophers in the win. Goalie Kent Patterson also recorded 22 saves in his sixth victory of the year. With the win, No. 8-ranked Minnesota improved to a 3-0-0 mark in road games and have yet to lose in WCHA action.
The Gophers and Seawolves face off again in Alaska Saturday night to complete the weekend series.
