2 Missing Brothers Found Safe In Northern Minn.

PARK RAPIDS, Minn. (AP) -- Two missing brothers are safe after being found in the woods of northern Minnesota.

The boys -- ages 10 and 12 -- were reported missing Tuesday afternoon from a home on Eagle Lake near Park Rapids. Hubbard County deputies responded and learned that family members could not find the boys

Sheriff Cory Aukes says about 30 people, including law enforcement and volunteers, searched the woods near where the boys were staying, and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter assisted. A family member found the brothers at 7:15 p.m. in the woods about a half-mile from the home and 3-and-a-half hours after they were reported missing.

The sheriff says the boys are OK.
