Minn.-Based Co. Makes 'Throw-Bots' For Police, Military
EDEN PRAIRIE (WCCO) -- Cities of any size will now find it easier to add a robot to their police departments. It's because a Minnesota-based company ReconRobotics, Inc. is offering a version of its remote-control surveillance camera for less than $5,000.
Their tough, little robot weighs slightly more than a pound, but can be thrown up to 50 feet. In fact, they call it the Throw-Bot.
