DECORAH, Iowa (AP) – Authorities say an 18-year-old from Rochester, Minn., has been killed and six other people were injured in a rollover crash of a pickup near Decorah, Iowa.

The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The Iowa State Patrol says a passenger, Joshua Evers, was killed. The driver, 18-year-old Brenden Christensen, of Winnebago, Minn., and five others in the truck were injured.

The patrol says Christensen was driving west on 245th Street and failed to negotiate a curve near 200th Avenue. The truck ran into a ditch, overturned and ended up on its passenger side.

Other passengers from Minnesota were identified as Trey Dylsin-Hiller, of Frost; and Kristin Easley, of Preston. Iowans in the truck were Bobby Wild, of Lansing; Shenyse Tharp, of Holy Cross; and Keisha Kerr, of Postville.
