Police Kill Deer Inside Campus Building
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- People crash college parties all the time, but one recent college "crasher" surprised some students at St. Catherine University.
A deer managed to break through a window at the Coeur de Catherine building.
The six-point buck made his grand entrance around 6 p.m. Wednesday while classes were still in session.
Police shot and killed the deer before animal control authorities got there.
The deer had reportedly also broken through a wall and was hiding in a stairwell.
Police were worried the deer would get loose again and threaten students or cause more damage.
Students said the deer was being chased by a dog before it crashed through the window.
