HOUGHTON, Mich. (AP) — Ryan Furne had the game’s only goal and Josh Robinson had 29 saves as Michigan Tech shut out Minnesota State, Mankato 1-0 on Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Furne scored on the power play at 14:22 of the first period for the Huskies (6-2-1, 4-2-1), who improved to 6-0-1 at home. Steve Seigo and Brett Olson assisted on the goal.

Furne’s goal was the only mistake by MSUM (1-6-0, 0-3-0) goalie Austin Lee, who made 40 saves.

Michigan Tech outshot the Mavericks 41-29.
