FBI Searching For Suspect After Prior Lake Bank Robbed

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minneapolis branch of the FBI is looking for a suspect after a U.S. Bank in Prior Lake was robbed Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 12:10 p.m. at the U.S. Bank located on the 15000 block of Franklin Trail SE in Prior Lake, according to FBI officials. They said the bank was robbed by a lone, white male. He entered the bank and approached a teller counter while talking on a cell phone.

When he got to the counter, the man demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the bank on foot.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male in his mid-20s, about 5 feet, 8 to 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build. The suspect had short, black hair and appeared to be unshaven. He was wearing a black shirt, faded camouflage pants, a brown jacket, black baseball cap and mirrored sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
