MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Officials are asking for the public’s help to find a Level 3 sex offender who escaped from supervision.
Clarence Robinson, 39, has been convicted of sexual assault and multiple robberies. He was on intensive supervised release for a 1997 first-degree burglary conviction in which he also sexually assaulted a woman, according to Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Authorities said Robinson was released from prison at the end of October and walked away from a halfway house on Nov. 1.
He is described as a black man, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Robinson was last seen in Minneapolis wearing blue jeans, a light blue button-down collared shirt and a blue puffy jacket.
Authorities said you should not attempt to confront Robinson. If you have information on his whereabouts, please call 911.
