Body Found In Lino Lakes, No Foul Play Suspected

LINO LAKES, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police say a body discovered in Rice Lake was likely that of a man who went missing on Friday.

An aerial search and rescue crew found the man's body early Tuesday morning.

The Blaine Police Department received a report of a missing man on Friday. The man's vehicle was later located at the Trappers Bar and Grill at 6810 Lake Drive in Lino Lakes, Minn. on Monday afternoon.

The Lino Lakes Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff's Office, Blaine Police Department and several volunteers searched the area where the man's vehicle was located but called off the search late Monday night.

The search was resumed Tuesday morning, when the body was found in the lake.

The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an investigation.

They say the investigation is ongoing and the man's identity will not be released until family has been notified.

No foul play is suspected and police say they are not pursuing any suspects at this time.
