DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Jack Connolly and Travis Oleksuk scored goals for the second straight night as Minnesota Duluth beat Alaska-Anchorage 3-1 on Saturday to sweep their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.
Both also had goal for the Bulldogs (7-3-2, 5-2-1), who beat the Seawolves 5-0 on Friday.
Alaska-Anchorage (3-6-1, 0-6-0) remains winless in the WCHA.
Kenny Reiter turned away 34 shots for the Bulldogs, while Chris Kamal stopped 33 for the Seawolves.
Eric Scheid opened the scoring for UAA just 5:18 into the game.
Derik Johnson tied it in the second period for UMD and Oleksuk got the game-winning goal.
