MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Watonwan County police are investigating after two cars collided head on Saturday morning, killing one.

Police said the collision occurred just before 11 a.m. on Highway 15 in Madelia, Minn. The collision involved a 2006 Toyota Prius, a 2003 Ford Escape, and a total of six people.

According to authorities, the Prius, which was being driven southbound by a juvenile driver, crossed the center lane and collided with the Escape. Authorities pronounced the Escape’s driver dead at the scene.

The names of those involved in the crash will be released Sunday, with exception of the juvenile driver, police said.

If a person is so young that his/her age cannot be made public, even in an accident involving a fatality, then this individual is too young to be operating a motor vehicle on public roadways.

I agree. This little punk killed someone!
What happened that he crossed the center line? How many people were in the car with him?
This is more than “an accident”……….a man’s dead.

  • Bob

Yes, he was at fault, and he is overcome with guilt. I was not in the car, but the kid is my friend. In his hospital stay, which he is still currently in, he tried to commit suicide.
