MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Watonwan County police are investigating after two cars collided head on Saturday morning, killing one.
Police said the collision occurred just before 11 a.m. on Highway 15 in Madelia, Minn. The collision involved a 2006 Toyota Prius, a 2003 Ford Escape, and a total of six people.
According to authorities, the Prius, which was being driven southbound by a juvenile driver, crossed the center lane and collided with the Escape. Authorities pronounced the Escape’s driver dead at the scene.
The names of those involved in the crash will be released Sunday, with exception of the juvenile driver, police said.
