MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A fugitive level 3 sex offender who walked away from a half-way house has been arrested.

Clarence Robinson, 39, was convicted of sexual assault and multiple robberies. He was on intensive supervised release for a 1997 first-degree burglary conviction in which he also sexually assaulted a woman, according to Minnesota Department of Corrections.

Robinson had been released from prison in late October and walked away from a halfway house on Nov. 1.

He was arrested by Minneapolis Police on Sunday around 8 a.m. and is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
