FBI: 'Man in Black' May Be Serial Bank Robber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The FBI may have a serial bank robber on its hands. Each time the robber has been dressed in black -- from head to toe.

In the most recent hold-up, at a TCF Bank in Arden Hills, the robber flashed a gun at employees and a customer.

"Anytime you have a person who threatens bank employees and bank customers with a firearm, it's very concerning to us," said Kyle Loven of the FBI.

A man in black also robbed the Richfield Bloomington Credit Union last week and the First National Bank of the Lakes in Richfield the week before.

The FBI said one clue is the getaway car that has been identified as a cream-colored Mitsubishi Galant.

The FBI hopes the public will help find the robber before he strikes again. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 612-376-3200.
