DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say a Chicago man wanted on a murder warrant in Minneapolis has been arrested in northeast Iowa.
The Dubuque County sheriff’s office says 32-year-old Kashaun Pierce was taken into custody without incident on Friday in Peosta. Officials say he was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by law enforcement. The sheriff’s office says authorities received information that Pierce was in the area.
Pierce was arrested on a warrant from Hennepin County for second-degree degree. Pierce is accused of murder in the Nov. 12 shooting death of Delwin Cooper.
