Man Pleads Guilty To Making Child Porn

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 29-year-old man pleaded guilty Wednesday to producing child pornography with victims who were under the age of 10, authorities said.

Abimael Castellon-Laureano pleaded guilty to one count of child pornography production before United States District Court Judge David S. Doty. He faces up to 30 years in prison.

In his plea agreement, Castellon-Laureano said that he persuaded minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of recording it. At the time of production, the two victims were under the age of 10, authorities said.

During a search of Castellon-Laureano's home, police seized a DVD containing child pornography. Castellon-Laureano is currently in state prison on other charges.
