1 Dead, 1 Hurt After Stabbing In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say one person is dead and another has been injured after a stabbing in St. Paul Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. at an apartment building on the 1400 block of Farrington Street in St. Paul.

Authorities have confirmed that one person is dead, one person is injured and one person is in custody at this time. Police spokesperson Howie Padilla said an adult male died at the scene from stab wounds and an adult female was also found with stab wounds. She was transported to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police identified the suspect as 48-year-old Pah Ber of St. Paul. Authorities said Ber and the female victim in the incident are married and the male victim, a 40-year-old Albert Lea resident, is an acquaintance of the couple.

It is not yet know what led up to the incident, which is under investigation at this time. Ber is expected to face criminal charges in the coming days.
