MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Five people were sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in Martell Township.

The crash happened around 4:32 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of County Road N and 610th Street.

A Pontiac Grand Am, driven by a juvenile girl, was traveling south on 610th and failed to yield to the right of way to an eastbound Ford Windstar, according to police.

Both vehicles collided.

Police say the Windstar was being driven by Ingrid Cook, 43, of Ellsworth, who had three other passengers in her vehicle. The juvenile teen was the only occupant of the Pontiac, according to police.

All were sent to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.

An investigation of the crash continues.
