MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 41-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both of Ogema, Minn., were found dead at a home near Detroit Lakes in what police are calling an apparent overdose.
Emergency personnel responded around 1 a.m. on Sunday to a home in Ogema, which is about 20 miles north of Detroit Lakes. Upon arrival, officials found the man and woman deceased.
Investigators say there is no foul play and the victims appear to have overdosed on prescription drugs — for respective prescriptions.
Autopsies have been ordered for both victims. Investigators — from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, White Earth Tribal Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension — are awaiting the results.
The investigation is ongoing. No other details are available at this time.
