ST. PAUL (WCCO) — The 40-year-old woman stabbed Saturday in St. Paul has been identified as Paw Pree.

Police say Pree is still recovering from life-threatening injuries she sustained in the early Saturday morning stabbing on the 1400 block of Farrington Street.

No additional information has been released regarding the 40-year-old Albert Lea man who was killed in the stabbings.

Police responded to the 911 call of a stabbing just after 7 a.m. on Saturday. When they arrived to the apartment building, they found the Albert Lea man critically injured. He later died at the scene.

Officers also found a second victim, later identified as Pree, who was also injured with stab wounds. She was transported to Regions Hospital, where she is being treated.

Forty-eight-year-old Pah Ber, of St. Paul, who is married to Pree, was arrested at the scene. The homicide victim is known as an acquaintance of the couple.

The incident is still being investigated.
