Survey: Twin Cities Consumers More Willing To Spend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new survey shows folks in the Twin Cities are ready to party this holiday season.
Residents are expected to spend $630 on social events outside the home, get togethers at home and holiday decorations. That's up 22 percent from last year.
The Deloitte survey found that spending on gifts won't change much this year from last year.
Twin Cities consumers are expected to spend about $420 and buy an average of 15 gifts.
That's a little higher than the national average.
