MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — With more people using online recipes and iPad apps in the kitchen, a Minneapolis entrepreneur saw an opportunity.
To keep those tablets from being ruined by accidental spills, Santiago Merea and his company, Established Tomorrow, created the Chef Sleeve, a clear plastic casing, perfectly fitted for the iPad.
Cooks can still perform all the online functions by touching the tablet through the plastic.
The three-sided container, which holds 25 Chef Sleeves, can also be used as a stand to prop up the tablet.
