MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Scott Allen’s first goal of the season came with less than six minutes left to left Alaska-Anchorage to a 5-4 win Friday over Minnesota State, Mankato.
Brett Cameron and Curtis Leinweber added a goal and assist each for the Seawolves (5-7-1, 2-7-0). Alaska-Anchorage was 2-for-3 on the power play, while holding the Mavericks (3-10-0, 2-8-0) to an 0-for-3 showing.
Mickey Spencer and Jordan Kwas also had goals.
Zach Lehrke had two goals for MSUM, including the equalizer at 11:12 of the third period.
Rob Gunderson had 23 saves for Alaska-Anchorage, and Austin Lee had 19 stops for the Mavericks.
