OccupyMN Protesters Say They Will Defy Judge's Ruling

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Occupy Minnesota protesters are planning a new protest next week in defiance of a judge's ruling.

Earlier this week, a judge ruled that protesters can't put up tents or sleep in the Hennepin County Government Center plaza.

In response, they plan to set up 99 tents, to represent the "99 percent."

On Thursday night, the Occupy Minnesota movement released a statement saying the protesters have the right to assemble and the right to shelter.

Hennepin County sheriff Rich Stanek says deputies will abide by and enforce the judge's decision.
