14-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Hit On Bike

PRIOR LAKE, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 14-year-old Prior Lake boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car, while on his bike.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the incident occurred around 7:50 a.m. Monday at Highway 13 and Oakland Beach Avenue.

Police say Seth Ratliff was on his bicycle in the intersection when he was hit by a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by 76-year-old Janice Miller, also of Prior Lake.

Ratliff was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition.

The Prior Lake Police Department and the Scott County Sheriff's Office assisted in the incident.
