EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) – It was a busy day over at Winter Park as the 2-9 Minnesota Vikings made a slew of roster moves.
Safeties Husain Abdullah and Tyrell Johnson were placed on injured reserve, ending their seasons. Receiver Michael Jenkins and long snapper Cullen Loeffler were also placed on injured reserve.
The Vikings signed long snapper Matt Katula on Tuesday to fill Loeffler’s position. They also signed receiver Stephen Burton and safeties Jarrad Page and Andrew Sendejo.
The Vikings also signed tight end Mickey Schuler to the team’s practice squad.
The Vikings (2-9) host Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos at noon Sunday at the Metrodome.
