MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are asking for help finding a suspect who shot a man Wednesday in north Minneapolis and left him with injures that will likely handicap him for life.

The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. near the intersection of West Broadway and Lyndale Avenue North. Witnesses saw a nearly 6-foot-tall man, who appeared to be in his early 20s, leave the scene wearing a black hoodie, police said.

Police found the victim unresponsive at the scene. He is currently in a medically induced coma at North Memorial Medical Center. He is in critical condition.
