Public Input Sought On Health Insurance Exchange

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- A series of websites that will simulate an idea of what Minnesota's future health insurance marketplace could look like will be unveiled Monday.

The Minnesota-Made Health Insurance Exchange will go live for public evaluation at noon, giving the public a chance to give their feedback and input into the new components.

The health insurance exchange is a site where people can find, compare, select and purchase health care coverage.

A few sample websites will be released on the Minnesota Department of Commerce website, after asking for proposals in June.

Ceridian, Curam, Deloitte, GetInsured.com and MAXIMUS/Connecture are among the vendors who have submitted modules.

The sample modules will be open for review until the end of January 2012.
