ST. PAUL (WCCO) — Officers are looking for a man who robbed a 90-year-old woman in St. Paul on Friday.
Police said just after 6 p.m. on Dec. 2, a woman called police to her home in the 1100 block of Van Buren on a report of an armed robbery.
She told police a man had entered the home through an unlocked door, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.
She said she cooperated and gave the man a small amount of cash, but he tied her hands and feet before he fled the home.
She was able to free herself around the time a relative arrived at the home and then she called police. She wasn’t injured.
The man wore a ski mask during the incident. He is described as being 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, he had a medium build and appeared to be a “younger” man according to the victim.
St. Paul Police ask anyone with information or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to call 651-266-5650 or 651-291-1111.
