Married Couple Dies In Cohasset House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A married couple is dead after a fire at a home in Cohasset, Minn.

Firefighters said they were called to a home at 750 NW 3rd Street around 7:25 a.m. Thursday.

When they arrived on scene, the home already had heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.

While fire crews were trying to contain the flames, they found two bodies inside.

Itasca County Sheriff Vic Williams identified the victims as Linda Marie Lumley, 56, and Harold Raymond Lumley, 49.

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office along with the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.

Officials say they're looking into a possible electrical problem as the cause but that is not confirmed at this point.
