Overturned Semi In Eden Prairie, Highway Reopened

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) — A semi overturned at Interstate 494 and Highway 212 around 10 a.m. Thursday in Eden Prairie, according to authorities.

Police say the truck driver took the ramp from northbound I-494 to westbound 212 too fast, causing the semi to tip.

Traffic management cameras showed the semi on its side, along with cotton feed that spilled onto the roadway.

The accident caused traffic backups for a few hours in the area, as crews worked to clear the scene.

Westbound traffic on 212 was being diverted and the ramp was closed but has since reopened.
