Mama V’s Russian Tea Cake Recipe

1.5 cups chopped Pecans
1/2 cup Sugar
2-teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Soften butter. Cream the butter with the sugar and the vanilla extract. Add flour, and salt, pecans, and stir together. This should all form together into a large ball.
If for some reason the mixture is too dry, add a bit more soften butter to make it more moist. Mold pieces of the dough mixture into balls about one inch in diameter or about the size of large marbles.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 20 minutes. Set aside and let cool. While still warm, dredge cookies in powdered sugar and serve.
