MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Monday morning commute will likely be a mess.
The late weekend warm up that brought temperatures near 40 Sunday will likely bring freezing rain late Sunday night/ early Monday morning, according to WCCO-TV meteorologist Matt Brickman.
The freezing rain will linger through most of Monday with temperatures reaching the mid-to-high 30s.
Looking forward, warmer-than-usual temperatures will to remain until Wednesday, when a storm system moves through that will start as rain and end as snow Thursday.
The weekend looks to be cooler (below freezing) and dry.
