ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – A sophomore at the University of St. Thomas is doing more than studying these days. She’s also raising hope for kids in Africa.
Lindsey Landgraf creates headbands and sells them to raise money for Door of Hope, an orphanage in South Africa. She will be headed to Africa next semester to work at the orphanage.
She started making the headbands as Christmas presents, and now she is using them to raise money for the orphanage.
She will take all the proceeds with her when she travels there next semester.
Lindsey has her headbands for sale on Etsy for $10 each.
