Reward Being Offered In Gaylord Hit And Run

GAYLORD, Minn. (WCCO) – The Minnesota State Patrol said Wednesday a reward is being offered in the case of a hit-and-run incident that happened in the Gaylord on Oct. 27.

Authorities said a $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads them to the person and/or vehicle involved in the incident. John Byro was riding his motorcycle near the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway 5 in Gaylord when his motorcycle hit the rear of another vehicle.

The vehicle in question never stopped, and Byro remains in serious condition in the hospital and is not able to tell what happened. Anyone who might have information about the incident is asked to call the Minnesota State Patrol at (507) 285-7410.

There is also a benefit planned for Byro at the American Legion and VFW in Madelia on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
